Work from Home Opportunity
You have probably heard the phrase, work smarter not harder, well it is true especially if you are working on the Internet, you have to have your smarts around you. If you want to be successful with your Work from Home opportunity then it is important to remember that you need to “work smarter not harder”. If you are anything like me you will have learnt that lesson the hard way, if indeed you have learnt that lesson at all. I was brought up with the “work hard” ethic and I suppose it has taken me most of my life to realize that if I want any measure of success then working smarter is what it is going to take. Remember you don’t get anything for nothing. Time plus effort equals success.
I started to look at a Work from Home opportunity almost 18 months ago. During that time I realized that I was wasting a lot of time flitting from one site to another kidding myself that I was learning lots of valuable lessons about internet marketing. My inbox was permanently full of emails that were responding to my request for further information. To begin with I read as many as possible, convinced that the golden nugget was going to be buried somewhere in the middle of them, the Holy Grail that would unlock the door of success. Of course it never happened.
As time went by my search for a legitimate Work from Home business got easier. I started to be able discern the scam from the genuine article. But, I was still involved in far too many things ranging from Social Networks to Traffic Exchanges not to mention Squidoo Lenses and Hub Pages. The list goes on. Of course some of these things are an integral part of any online Work from Home job. The question is, with the ever increasing number of sites appearing online on a daily basis, how many do you need to belong to and which ones will bring the rewards you are seeking?
This would appear to be the point at which I realized the importance of working smarter not harder in my Work from Home business. I was also trying to get 3 business opportunities up and running, thinking that each one had something different to offer. It wasn’t long before I pared that right down to one opportunity. That was scary. I felt very vulnerable, but incredibly free and very relieved. I am now able to give my one opportunity all my time and effort and believe that now I have a much greater chance of success with my Work from Home business.
I have also spent some time trying to decide which of the various web 2.0 sites I am going to concentrate on. Which ones will really help me to promote myself and my business? If I can find a way of working out which ones are more beneficial, then I will definitely be working smarter not harder on my Work from Home opportunity.
I have, over the last 18 months, realized that in order to work smarter I have to learn from those who know more than I do. When you are setting up a Work from Home business it is easy for a touch of arrogance to creep in and kid you into thinking you can do it on your own. Believe me it will take you ages by yourself. You are far better getting with a team, then you have people to work with and chat to, people who will help. It is called leverage. Generally with a team there are people with different skills and everyone contributes and their individual skills complement one another, a great way to be in business.
If you want to find out more about how to develop a Work from Home Opportunity in a way that you probably have never heard of
before, then I suggest you go to the link at the end of this paragraph.
The business is based on the acquisition of customers, not on
recruiting distributors, customers are the mainstay of any business
and without them a business cannot survive for long. We have all
struggled to find something that works and we have all probably come
across opportunities that show promise only to be disappointed after a
short period. There is nothing else out there like it, not that I have
seen anyway.
